Haircut, First Lollipop & Lax

I took George to get his haircut two Sundays ago.  It was a last minute decision while Daddy took a rest.  As soon as we got there, George started saying, "No haircut Mommy, no haircut."  Over and over again.  Well, poor little guy, I overruled him.  We went in and found someone who said they'd be patient enough, and George got to sit on the board above the chair.  It started out OK, but then he started throwing his arms up, and pulling his head away anytime she got near with her scissors.  So I ended up sitting in the chair with Georgie on my lap, holding his arms down and sometimes his head in place.  But we got through it and he looked ever so handsome!  After, the girl offered him a lollipop, and I said he could have one.  She brought out a big bag of Dummies and Tootsie Pops and held it open for George to choose, as she said to me, "You probably want him to have a small one."  Well, of course George didn't want a small one, so he chose a giant tootsie pop.  I tried to offer him a Dummie in replacement, but he just tried to take it too!  So we put one back and he got his first ever lollipop.  And he really enjoyed it!  Luckily, after we got home and got ready for dinner, he forgot all about it and into the bin it went, with George none the wiser.

George loves outside dinners.  He cries, "Dinnertime!  Outside!"  Sometimes he gets to sit on the big chairs, other times we sit right on the lawn.  This night he's eating yummy steak, corn and cheese.  Mmmm, Mmmm.  After dinner he decided he wanted to play with Chris's lacrosse stick.  It is his new favorite toy.  He grabs it up and says, "Throw ball, Jazzie."  He tries to throw the ball for her, but she's a bit afraid of the lacrosse stick, so sometimes they have to play separately.
