Formula 1 Night

Tuesday night we went over to our friend's house to watch Formula 1, the Bahrain race.  We brought George hoping we could get him to go to sleep in a pack and play there after he had dinner and play time with the twins.

He had so much fun with Danny and Callie, and their toys!  He especially loved Rody the bouncy horse.

He got off because he saw Callie had stripped down to her knickers.  So he wanted to strip down too!  So, with some help, he did.

He tried to sit and read with Callie, but she was too busy (thus the blur-she didn't stop moving)...

So he went back to riding Rody.  He sat at the window chatting away.  I think he was creating a full narrative of his activity.  None of it was understandable, but he sure was having fun.

I just love that belly!  He was quite the trooper too.  We let him play until about 7 pm (a half hour past his bedtime), then got him into his jammies and brace and sleep sack.  Then we went into Callie and Danny's room to read "Jamberry" with them.  After that, we went into a bedroom, nursed and cuddled, then I put George down to sleep.  He was pretty confused by the new space, so really cried when I put him down.  So after a few minutes, I sent Daddy in, who had him sound asleep within 5 minutes.  Georgie slept so well that when we left around 10 pm, I scooped him up, said our goodbyes, strapped him into the carseat and he barely stirred.  We got home, got him unstrapped, out of the car into the cold, inside and into bed and the darling boy never woke up.  He slept through until 3 am, when he woke up for a cuddle, then back to sleep.  I had to wake him up at 7:40 so I wouldn't be late for work (and so he'd go to bed at his bedtime that night!).
