A Day at the Beach

We did have a lot of fun playing on the local beach, though it was extremely windy.  But George didn't seem to mind, even when his boogery nose (and what was coming out of it) was covered in sand.

I love how slim I get when the blog stretches my photo up!  Lovely...

But not so keen on how wide I get when they stretch OUT!  :-)

Then Chris dug George a big hole that George found fun and fascinating.  He could climb out, jump in, slide down, hide, lie down...endless permutations for a 2 year old's imagination.

After playing in the hole, Chris built sand-creatures...turtles, cars, airplanes...which then George would smoosh with great joy!

And of course, the promised "Sand Booger!"

George had such a wonderful time playing with his Nana and Granddad.  He played in the sand with them both, and even went for a surf walk with Granddad!  What a lucky little boy.
